DESCRIPTION

NEO GUARD WR is a two component epoxy coating system reasonable for application in regions exposed to consistent water spillages or expected to be deep in water. The item is uncompromising with high mechanical, bond and grating qualities.

NEO GUARD WR doesn't need any primer. It may be straight away used on to the cleaned surface. It is moisture lenient henceforth can be used on wet surfaces also. NEO GUARD WR has high gloss and smooth finish, henceforth suitable as use on concrete as well as aesthetic coating on primary steel.

RECOMMENDED USE

The product is appropriate for coating areas near washing places, restrooms, toilets and pools. This coating can be used in water tanks too. This material is appropriate for covering on floors of manufacturing plants, workshops and all broad industry floors exposed to oil, chemical or water spillages. NEO GUARD WR can be painted on smooth surfaces like clay or coated tiles. Consequently, it is appropriate for coating on old pools tiles to bring back new look to the pools.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Clean the surface to be coated and eliminate any stale water on a surface. Mix the Base component - A and the Reactor component - B, completely. Apply the material use a soft bristled brush, uniformly and use suitable roller for getting the ideal final finish. It can be applied in two coats for a superior appearance. The 2nd coat is applied when the 1st coat has dried overnight or after an interval of eight hours.

APPLICATION METHOD

Stir the Base part thoroughly. Mix base and Hardener as per our recommended ratio, by volume. Stir the mix gently to attain homogeneity. Allow the mixture to stand still(maturation) for about 10-15 minutes to initiate the reaction. Add Thinner neo-ET-501 into mix, if required, depending on application method, and stir gently for few minutes. Stain the paint through nylon filter cloth of 100 mesh size and apply uniformly over the surface. All equipment used for above should be properly cleaned.

Generally, no thinner is required for brush application, however under adverse environment conditions about 5% of thinner. By volume, can be added. Apply evenly in crisscross manner and ensure the uniform application. Use quality brushes for paint application.

 Notes

1.      Do not apply paint when temperature falls below 10°C or rises above 50°C and when Relative Humidity is above 85%, or during rain, fog or mist, surface temperature must be minimum of 3°C above Dew point.

2.      Brush and Spray equipment should be cleaned with NEO’s recommended thinner otherwise equipment is liable to damaged.

3.      Products of flow coat application are also available on request.

4.      DFT variation can be obtained by change in application method/thinning ratio. Contact NEO’s Representative for further assistance.

5.      Product with different volume solids, with amine hardener and also Ld/Cr free version are available on requests.

6.      Shelf-life indicated is minimum of 12 months of this product in sealed condition and it is subjected to re inspection thereafter. Individual component required to store in cool, dry and covered condition, away from heat and ignition.

This is a solvent-based paint and care should be taken to avoid inhalation of Spray mist or vapor as well as contact between the wet paint and exposed skin or eyes.
